To the CPC:
I am worried that there has not been enough discussion/clarification of the text amendments to be made to CZO 1-4, 19 and 26.
For example, I attended the Sept. 9 CPC hearing; the Oct. 3 listening session; and the Oct. 14 CPC hearing — and I am still not sure why the purpose statement for conditional uses (CZO Art. 4.3.A) will be emended to add “public benefit” to “public need” as the motivation for a given conditional use.
I am in favor of a more deliberate process—no matter how long it takes.
We need to get it right.
